Nous sommes tr\u00e8s surpris que d\u2019aucuns, m\u00eame sous couvert de pens\u00e9e critique, acceptent sans \u00e9tats d\u2019\u00e2me de cautionner une pratique plus que discutable qu\u2019ils nomment la phytoth\u00e9rapie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malheureusement, plus ils sont critiques sur d\u2019autres sujets, plus leur acceptation de cette pratique prend du poids vis-\u00e0-vis des lecteurs. Existe-t-il un esprit critique \u00e0 g\u00e9om\u00e9trie variable ? Tout est-il critiquable, sauf ce qu\u2019ils nomment la phytoth\u00e9rapie ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous pouvons tout de m\u00eame croire que la majorit\u00e9 d\u2019entre eux sont de bonne foi et se trompent par m\u00e9connaissance ou absence d\u2019analyse, d\u2019o\u00f9 cette petite explication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous ne nierons pas l\u2019effet physiologique et parfois m\u00e9dical de certaines plantes mais ce n\u2019est pas le sujet principal, ni le principal danger pour l\u2019esprit critique. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le danger, c\u2019est l\u2019utilisation des mots : la terminologie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le danger c\u2019est un grand mot : la \u00ab phytoth\u00e9rapie \u00bb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et il est bien plus dangereux qu\u2019il n\u2019y para\u00eet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Par un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne d\u2019association, on pourrait cr\u00e9diter une respectabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 un ensemble de traitements. Les pseudos-m\u00e9decines comptent essentiellement l\u00e0-dessus. Qu’une plante soit efficace contre la goutte, il en sera d\u00e9duit par amalgame que les plantes gu\u00e9rissent une maladie. Si des plantes gu\u00e9rissent donc une maladie, il en sera de nouveau d\u00e9duit par amalgame que la phytoth\u00e9rapie a prouv\u00e9 son efficacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce manque de pr\u00e9cision terminologique est toujours au d\u00e9savantage de la science. La discussion devrait porter uniquement sur la validit\u00e9 d\u2019un traitement par son efficacit\u00e9 propre, jamais en le classant dans une cat\u00e9gorie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autrefois on utilisait la colchique pour soulager la goutte. L\u2019industrie pharmaceutique l\u2019a \u00e9tudi\u00e9e, a isol\u00e9 un principe actif : la colchicine. Quand une efficacit\u00e9 est prouv\u00e9e, les chimistes s\u2019empressent d\u2019isoler et synth\u00e9tiser, ou pas… N\u00e9anmoins, le fait que des mol\u00e9cules th\u00e9rapeutiques soient issues de plantes ne peut et ne doit avoir aucune valeur pr\u00e9dictive sur l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 d\u2019autres plantes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et bien s\u00fbr, il en va de m\u00eame pour les huiles essentielles qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 regroup\u00e9es sous le nom d’aromath\u00e9rapie, pour permettre de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de ce m\u00eame effet d\u2019association…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit de nommer et classer, les pseudo-m\u00e9decines savent faire preuve d\u2019une rigueur quasi scientifique. Par exemple, l’allopathie est une trouvaille g\u00e9niale de leur part. Ils s\u2019empressent de trouver une cat\u00e9gorie d\u00e8s qu\u2019ils cr\u00e9ent un \u00ab traitement \u00bb, comme \u00ab mycoth\u00e9rapie \u00bb pour le champignon anti-canc\u00e9reux. L\u2019antibiotique (contre la vie) n\u2019a-t-il pas perdu le combat contre les pro-biotiques (cat\u00e9gorie bidon mais favorable \u00e0 la vie…). On ne peut se contenter du scientifique, la terminologie a une grande importance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certains peuvent nous dire qu\u2019il s\u2019agit juste d\u2019une cat\u00e9gorie, comme l\u2019insulinoth\u00e9rapie, l\u2019antibioth\u00e9rapie ou la chimioth\u00e9rapie anticanc\u00e9reuse. C\u2019est compl\u00e8tement faux, ces d\u00e9nominations sont tout au plus de la nomenclature pour aider le scientifique, elles ne pr\u00e9jugent pas de l\u2019origine d\u2019une mol\u00e9cule mais de son mode d\u2019action et n\u2019ont aucune utilit\u00e9 marketing comme les pseudo-pratiques susnomm\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Constatant l\u2019usage, on pourrait penser que ce combat est perdu d\u2019avance concernant la phytoth\u00e9rapie. Il faut tout de m\u00eame le mener car celle-ci a ouvert la porte aux autres th\u00e9rapies non scientifiques. Nous avons parl\u00e9 de la \u00ab mycoth\u00e9rapie \u00bb (discipline se d\u00e9veloppant en m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire sur la seule foi d\u2019une efficacit\u00e9 tout au plus suppos\u00e9e d\u2019un extrait de Coriolus versicolor<\/em>), de la \u00ab gemmoth\u00e9rapie \u00bb et il y en a tant d\u2019autres<\/a>… Les ind\u00e9cis doivent s’interroger sur cette forme d\u2019argumentation des pseudo-m\u00e9decines car elle est pernicieuse et capable de travestir des fariboles pour leur donner un aspect de v\u00e9rit\u00e9s respectables. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
